St. Matthew Building Projects

Two weeks ago Bill Watts and Norm Huelsman came up with a list of projects that need to be completed around the church. We are hoping to execute these over the next year. Some are larger than others but this at least gives us a list of things we want to complete. So expect to see updates.

• Clean up back yard trash area
• Build a shed for lawn mower
• Remove trash & junk from annex basement, boiler room, bell tower (May
• Re configure Food Pantry layout
• Install lights and exit signs
• Remove blue chips from playground
• Update signs on North Ave
• Remove old freezers
• Repair sanctuary ceiling
• Paint exterior of bell tower and window frames (install lights for bell tower)
• Repair playground fence
• Clean out front office
• Sell old computer desks/cabinets
• Donate/sell misc., school material supplies

We have a number of workdays scheduled throughout the summer as well. May 8, June 12, July 10, and August 14. So please mark your calendar and plan on helping us cross off more of the list.
